Position Overview

The Scheduling Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules across commercial construction projects. This role supports successful project delivery through accurate planning, schedule oversight, progress tracking, and coordination across all phases of construction.

The Scheduling Manager works closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to identify risks, maintain schedule alignment, and support on-time, on-budget execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestone tracking, and critical path analysis.
  • Coordinate scheduling activities with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and support corrective action planning.
  • Maintain schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar software.
  • Lead schedule review meetings and provide progress updates to project teams and clients.
  • Support procurement, logistics, and field coordination to maintain project timelines.
  • Assist with schedule-related change orders, claims, and project reporting.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling documentation and support company scheduling standards and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of scheduling or project controls experience within commercial construction.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and critical path methodology.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
