POSITIONSUMMARY:

The primary purpose of this position is to plan and execute studentprogramming, under the guidance of the director of the office, that will helpto foster an understanding and lived expression of the Mission on campus amongstudents. The Coordinator will focus on our undergraduate students incollaboration with other divisions.  TheCoordinator will also support existing initiatives out of the office of MissionAnimation including but not limited to Heritage Week, Founders Week, andSpiritan Feast days.  The Coordinator, Mission Animation supportsmission-driven community engagement and educational programming out of theoffice of Mission Animation through work with student leaders and the directoron the revamping of existing programming, and development of new programming.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To assist in creating and to execute mission-themed programming directedspecifically toward our student community. 
To develop educational materials including but not limited to posters,social media graphics, and slides for campus TV screens that help to foster anunderstanding of our Catholic Spiritan identity.   
To run all social media for the @duqmissionaccounts, and update the Mission Animation website as needed. 
Supports the Spirit of Community Scholarship program and CommunityEngagement Scholars through:
Recruitmentefforts including but not limited to Duq Days, admitted student days, andclassroom visits.
Collecting andtracking of necessary clearances for both programs.
Checks in withstudents (25) as needed to ensure all students are meeting their hourrequirements.
Supports mission-driven community engagement and educational programming out of theoffice of Mission Animation through work with student leaders and the directoron the revamping of existing programming, and development of new programming.
Supports the Mission Ambassadors programthrough coordinating attendance at training for student leaders, support ofmission ambassador event details, and helping to recruit for the program. 
Completes otherduties as assigned.
