The Arkansas Neurosciences Institute (ANI) are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside internationally renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Ali Krisht and contribute to a comprehensive program covering all aspects of neurosurgery and neurological disorders.

At ANI, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve optimal health and well-being. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and make a significant impact.

Every day, you will:

  • Provide advanced nursing care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions and support their evolving treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, establish accurate diagnoses, and develop individualized, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Prescribe treatments and collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless and comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate and counsel individuals, families, and groups on health promotion, disease management, and maintenance specific to neurological disorders.
  • Evaluate patient health outcomes and adapt treatment plans as needed to optimize results.
  • Perform medically delegated functions under the direction of a physician, as outlined in your collaborative practice agreement.
  • Actively participate in clinic and hospital department projects and committees, contributing to program development and leadership initiatives.
  • Take responsibility for clearly communicating patient needs, care plans, and problem resolution to physicians and other healthcare teams.

  • Current and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of Arkansas.
  • Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner required.

  • Current BLS certification.
