  • Build productive business relationships with senior leaders and identify business opportunities through analytics and creative solutions
  • Conduct and oversee rigorous analytics to improve profitability, operational processes, and customer service
  • Evaluate revenue growth opportunities, resource optimization, investment mix, competitive market dynamics, customer behavior, and pricing optimization
  • Distill large datasets into actionable insights and recommendations for business decisions and strategies
  • Develop presentation materials and communicate analytical findings to senior management
  • Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic projects
  • Design and deliver reporting on trends and business performance drivers using Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel
  • Develop analytics and reporting tools using SQL, R, Tableau, Google BigQuery, and Python
  • Lead integration of new technologies and tools into departmental processes
  • Identify and execute process and reporting improvements that drive efficiencies
  • Lead or contribute to large-scale cross-Analytics team projects
  • Train, onboard, coach, and develop junior analysts in technical skills, analytical techniques, tools, processes, critical thinking, and business acumen
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college
  • 3+ years of professional work or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated business acumen for the casino industry and understanding of fundamental business performance drivers
  • Very strong quantitative and analytical skills with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with Google BigQuery
  • Experience leading projects using web-based data visualization tools such as Tableau or MicroStrategy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex analyses, conclusions, and recommendations to business partners and influence decisions and strategies
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and consensus-building skills
  • Ability to develop and manage relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize junior analysts' work, and meet deadlines while delivering accurate, high-quality work
