We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer with an active TS/SCI clearance to support enterprise modernization, operational initiatives, and strategic innovation efforts in secure government environments for an Army program.
Position Overview:
The Senior Software Developer builds and delivers secure, scalable software solutions that support enterprise programs and innovation initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and integrating frontend, backend, and full-stack components while adhering to Agile development methodologies and CI/CD best practices within classified environments.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned technical leader with strong experience in modern application development, automation platforms, analytics integration, and rapid prototyping.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and integrate secure software applications in Agile environments.
  • Build frontend, backend, and full-stack components including user interfaces, APIs, automation logic, and data workflows.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI to enhance operational visibility and decision-making.
  • Automate business processes using platforms such as Power Automate and related enterprise tools.
  • Build proof-of-concept (PoC) systems to validate innovation concepts and assess technical feasibility.
  • Lead rapid solution prototyping efforts to support strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation sessions, and iterative delivery cycles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable software solutions.
  • Integrate applications with enterprise systems, supporting API development and data exchange mechanisms.
  • Maintain adherence to configuration management standards and CI/CD deployment processes.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance (required)
  • Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field

OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one of the following certifications:
    • CASP+
    • CISSP-ISSAP
    • AWS Professional Certification (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, or equivalent)

Technical Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar)
  • Experience with RESTful API development and enterprise system integration
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery models
  • Experience working within CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps environments
  • Experience with Power BI dashboard development
  • Experience with Power Automate or similar workflow automation platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security principles
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale systems and operational analytics initiatives
  • Experience operating within classified or secure government networks

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and innovation labs
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles
  • Experience integrating analytics-driven features into operational systems
