Job description

The Position
The Incentive Program Analyst supports the Incentive Program Manager in the onboarding, 
administration, and ongoing management of the company's solar Incentive Programs for Non Residential 
Portfolios. This role assists with monitoring program requirements, tracking compliance, and maintaining 
accurate program documentation. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, analytical self-starter with 
strong interpersonal and communication skills who can support relationship management across internal 
teams and external Rebate Authorities and Program Administrators.
Reporting to the Incentive Program Manager, the Incentive Program Analyst assists in understanding the 
complex Incentive Program’s policy requirements and helps implement efficient, sustainable operational 
processes. This is a cross-functional support role that requires a highly motivated, organized individual 
who can adapt to a fluid business environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Incentive Program Manager in gaining and maintaining proficiency in State and Utility-based Solar Incentive Programs.
  • Assist with new solar incentive program onboarding, including helping create detailed program guidelines and operational requirement checklists.
  • Help design and document sustainable processes for effectively managing the Solar Incentives Program.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration in sustaining the existing Incentive Program, including tracking issues and assisting with process improvements.
  • Monitor Incentive Program changes, including but not limited to step-down and program closure, and help assess impact on operations and financials.
  • Review Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and related commercial contracts to assess impact on incentive program structuring, compliance, and financial modeling.
  • Assist with communication and coordination with Rebate Authorities and Rebate Program Administration.
  • Support timely completion of Program Compliance requirements to help maintain good standing with Rebate and Program Administrators.
  • Compile and analyze results data and assist internal teams with improving forecasting accuracy.
  • Help maintain Incentive policies and process maps, ensuring that documentation is up to date.
  • Other duties assigned to support the Program Manager and team objectives

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with different renewable incentive programs is preferred.
  • Ability to perform data analysis and support regulatory research.
  • Experience reviewing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) or similar commercial contracts is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in creating reports and templates is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and time management and organizational skills are also valued.
  • Strong computer proficiency, which includes knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exposure to project coordination or project management support is a plus.
