Job Summary:

The Manager, Performance Analytics & Insights is responsible for leading the Technical Services analytics function and advancing GDI Ainsworth's operational reporting capabilities. This role provides leadership to the analytics team while driving reporting strategy, analytics governance, Power BI platform standards, roadmap development, and performance measurement frameworks that support business decision-making.

As a hands-on leader, you will oversee a team of analysts while partnering across Operations, Finance, Digital Solutions, and other business functions to enhance reporting effectiveness, strengthen data governance, and improve performance visibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing analytics team, providing coaching, mentorship, and strategic direction.
  • Promote analytics best practices, reporting standards, and quality expectations.
  • Act as a player-coach by contributing directly to strategic analytics initiatives and critical business requests.
  • Support recurring, ad hoc, and executive reporting requirements while balancing priorities based on business value and organizational needs.
  • Design and deliver dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, executive reporting, and operational performance insights using Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Translate business objectives into meaningful metrics and reporting frameworks that drive informed decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain the analytics roadmap, identifying opportunities for automation, self-service reporting, AI-enabled solutions, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain reporting governance, ensuring data accuracy, quality, consistency, and documentation standards.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand reporting needs and deliver scalable analytics solutions.
  • Present insights, trends, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote consistent reporting standards, KPI definitions, and data governance practices across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or performance management.
  • Experience leading projects, mentoring team members, or coordinating analytics resources.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and operational reporting programs.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of data-driven decision-making.
  • Advanced Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modelling expertise.
  • Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with reporting automation, business intelligence, and data visualization best practices.
  • Understanding of data governance, KPI development, and reporting lifecycle management.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business and operational acumen.

The salary range is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data. The base salary is just one component of Ainsworth’s total compensation package, which also includes additional rewards and benefits such as short-term incentives and health insurance, among others.
