Lead Analyst - Analytics & Reporting

Location:

What you'll do:

As a Reporting & Technical Support Lead, you will ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports, dashboards, and data insights. You'll act as the primary point of contact for reporting requests, manage workload distribution, and provide technical guidance to team members. This role focuses on leading development of reporting solutions, maintaining data integrity, and supporting business intelligence initiatives across Commercial Banking. You will also collaborate with partners while performing hands-on work to integrate automated solutions into workflows and support process improvements that enhance scalability.
  • Supports the Commercial Bank's strategy leading the team in development and implementation of dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting solutions using BI tools such as Power BI, and SQL-based platforms.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for reporting requests, gathering requirements, and ensuring outputs meet accuracy, compliance, and stakeholder expectations. Drive the strategy of process automation and innovation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability of reporting workflows.
  • Perform hands on development and provide support for Commercial Bank owned and operational applications including electronic form configuration and formatting leveraging integrated AI capabilities within the development tools.;
  • Perform and support migrating solutions to production posting and post-go live updates while delivering end to end production support for dashboards and other Microsoft Power solutions.
  • Provide and lead UAT and liaison when needed with IT when incident's occur. Incident management support; maintain UiPath and PowerAutomate automation workflows; and develop test scripts, release documentation, and deployment activities.
  • Lead the approach of ongoing enhancement, stewardship, maintenance, and development of business automation solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and alignment with evolving business objectives. Support the manager in overseeing data integrity and governance across reporting systems, implementing best practices for quality control and compliance.
  • Provide advanced technical guidance and mentorship to team members on SQL queries, BI tools, and data visualization techniques. Collaborate with management on strategic projects and assist in preparing presentations and insights for senior leadership.
  • Monitor and report on team KPIs, including turnaround times, report accuracy, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous learning and improvement.
  • May lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of related experience in Analytics, Reporting, Finance or similar field., Data Analytics & Data Management, Finance (GL Mgmt, Public Reporting, Analysis), Analytics, Reporting, Finance or similar field., Data Analytics & Data Management, Finance (GL Mgmt, Public Reporting, Analysis) or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate knowledge of data analytics tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau) and reporting best practices.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience in business intelligence processes and experience implementing analytical change in growth environments; experience in project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience in overseeing automation initiatives or process improvement projects preferred. Familiarity with workflow optimization and integration of automated solutions is a plus.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Occasional travel required.
