Walton Enterprises isย seekingย a skilled, highlyย motivatedย and analytical individual to join the team as an FP&A Associate. The ideal teammate will haveย demonstratedย abilityย to design advanced financial reporting solutions, enhance forecasting accuracy, and translate complex financial data into actionable strategic insights for cross functional stakeholders.ย 

About the Positionย 

The FP&A Associate supports financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis across the organization. This role partners closely with department leaders to improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen reporting capabilities, and support data driven decision making. The position plays a key role in building reporting infrastructure through ERP and business intelligence systems while advancing automation and process efficiency initiatives.ย 

What youย will doย 

Lead the development of financial and operational reporting by aggregating and synthesizing data from ERP and business intelligence systems to provide clear and actionable insights. Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing reforecasting cycles through detailed financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance evaluation. Partner with cross functional leaders to analyze cost drivers, revenue trends, and key performance metricsย in order toย inform strategic decision making. Continuously enhance dashboards, forecasting tools, and executive reporting packages to improve transparency, accuracy, and overall financial visibility across the organization.ย 

Responsibilitiesย ย 

  • Design, build, andย maintainย financial and operational reports using both Solver and Power BI aggregating data from ERP and BI systemsย 
  • Develop KPI dashboards and performance metricsย 
  • Design and build financial reporting packagesย 
  • Support system implementations, automation, and efficiency initiativesย 
  • Enhance forecasting models and financial reporting toolsย 
  • Translate financial data into strategic insightsย 
  • Improve financial planning processes and data integrity across ERP and BI systemsย 
  • Support the annual budgeting process and reforecasting cyclesย 
  • Develop andย maintainย forecasts for departments or business unitsย 
  • Analyze variances between actuals, budget, and forecastย 
  • Collaborate with department leaders to understand cost drivers and revenue trendsย 
  • Identifyย financial risks and opportunities proactivelyย 
  • Support capital investment analysis and ROI evaluationsย 
  • Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis as neededย

  • Advanced report writing and development capabilities in Solver and Power BIย 
  • Excelย power userย and financial modeling skillsย 
  • Strongย workingย knowledge of ERP systems,ย preferablyย Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and data integration toolsย 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skillsย 

Additional Helpful Experience Includesย 

  • MBA, CPA, or CFA (a plus, notย required)ย 
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations or system enhancementsย 
  • Knowledge of GIPS and experience withย Addeparย 
  • Relevant industry experienceย
