Responsibilities
The Measurement team is responsible for interpreting the performance of advertising on our platform. We work with advertisers to optimize their activity on the platform and build meaningful connections that help drive behavior change. TikTok is looking for a full-time Measurement Analyst. This role will primarily work with Measurement Partners and Business leaders to provide analytics support solving complex challenges. As a Measurement Analyst, you will work closely with our measurement and sales teams to drive business growth and optimize measurement and ads performance. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and interpret data to inform measurement strategies, optimize ad campaigns and improve ROI. We seek a motivated and empathetic individual with strong analytical skills. Success in this role within a rapidly expanding environment depends on execution, curiosity and a commitment to data-driven thinking. This person will be working with both brand and performance focused industry verticals on TikTok and will have the opportunity to build analytical programs which directly influence global Measurement strategy. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with measurement, product and sales teams to develop and implement measurement and analytical strategies that drive revenue growth. - Leverage internal and external data sources to build visualizations and reporting to inform the business and measurement strategies. - Tracking and reporting of advertiser performance metrics to support and grow adoption of measurement solutions. Build dashboards with advanced functionality. - Use campaign and business outcomes data, apply statistical models and methodologies to explain the drivers of upper and lower funnel metrics. - Design and testing of bidding, targeting, and optimisation methods to support new product and feature development. - Build prototype models, solutions, applications using tools such as Python and R that can be leveraged by the measurement teams to understand drivers of campaign performance at scale. - Provide actionable insights and recommendations to sales and measurement teams to optimize ad campaigns and improve ROI. - Conduct training and education for measurement teams on using reporting, dashboarding and analytical solutions. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new measurement methodologies to continuously improve our measurement capabilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in analytics and digital advertising from large marketing-related organizations or measurement suppliers - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science). - Proven experience in Data Science, Data Analysis, Measurement or a related field. Understanding of experimentation (conversion lift or geo-lift), attribution (last or multi-touch) and modeling solutions (marketing mix modeling) key to the role. - Experience using SQL, Python/R and visualization solutions on a consistent basis in professional environments. - Hands on experience conducting advanced analysis using methods such as regression, decision trees, random forests etc. Portfolio of applications built using these methods in Python or R. - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively. Preferred Qualifications: - PhD in Statistics or Data Science fields - Experience working in Data Science teams at technology companies working on marketing and media topics. - Familiarity with privacy-first innovation for marketing measurement systems

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $121600 - $220400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
