We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Analyst to support category management, demand-supply planning, and supply chain optimization in a global B2B technology distribution environment. This role focuses on reporting and analytics to drive actionable insights and decisions to support category management strategies, improve working capital productivity, and service levels, while partnering closely with category, operations, planning and IT teams.

Your role:

Reporting & Analytics

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks for key supply chain KPIs (backorders, inventory health, service levels, forecast accuracy, SKU productivity)

  • Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)

  • Develop data models and automated reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and improve speed to insight

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across systems and reports

  • Deliver regular performance insights and executive-ready summaries to support decision making

Category & Portfolio Management

  • Analyze category and SKU-level performance across revenue, margins, inventory turns, aging, and lifecycle stages

  • Identify opportunities for SKU rationalization, long-tail optimization, and excess & obsolete (E&O) reduction

  • Support category managers with data-driven insights for assortment planning, vendor performance, and product lifecycle decisions (NPI/EOL)

  • Develop and maintain category scorecards and performance tracking frameworks

Planning & Supply Chain Optimization

  • Analyze forecast accuracy, demand variability, and demand-supply mismatches to identify root causes and improvement opportunities

  • Develop analytics to define replenishment strategies, safety stock, EOQs etc

  • Perform scenario analysis and trade-off modeling (service level vs. inventory vs. cost)

  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory efficiency, fill rates, and overall supply chain responsiveness

Working Capital & Inventory Productivity

  • Track and analyze inventory turns, Days of Inventory (DOI), and inventory aging at category and SKU levels

  • Generate insights to improve inventory velocity and reduce slow-moving or excess stock

  • Quantify the financial impact of supply chain decisions on cash flow and profitability

  • Partner with Finance and business teams to support working capital optimization initiative.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Category Management, Planning, Procurement, Finance, and Sales teams

  • Act as a bridge between data and business, translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations

  • Support business reviews and planning cycles with fact-based insights and performance tracking

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field

  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, planning, inventory management, or category analytics

  • Experience in B2B distribution, technology products, or high-SKU environments strongly preferred

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets

  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for dashboarding and visualization

  • Solid understanding of supply chain concepts including demand planning, inventory management, and operational KPIs

  • Ability to connect operational metrics to financial outcomes such as working capital, margins, and cash flow

  • Experience working with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, with familiarity in data structures and data quality practices

  • Experience working with planning systems such as Blue Yonder, Kinaxis a plus

  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Experience working in cross-functional environments, with exposure to planning tools, automation, or advanced analytics techniques preferred

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,800.00 - $137,300.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
