We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team! The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in insurance systems, preferably Workers Compensation insurance, and hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.

The successful candidate will be a proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to take on new challenges. This role bridges business needs with technical solutions, ensuring data-driven decision-making and process optimization.

This position will be in our Woodland Hills, California office. This position will work on a hybrid schedule with 2 days working in office and 3 days from home. Remote candidates on the west coast in the pacific time zone may also be considered. If remote, candidates must travel occasionally to the Woodland Hills office.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed business analysis to understand and document business requirements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business needs.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for business processes, systems, and workflows.

  • Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.

  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights through the design and development of dashboards and reports using Cognos and Tableau

Job Qualifications

  • Generally, 5 or more years of related experience.

  • General insurance industry knowledge is required. Preferably Workers' Compensation insurance.

  • Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.

  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases is preferred, but not required.

  • Experience with Cognos, Tableau, and Snowflake is preferred, but not required.

  • Experience using AI platforms and tools (CoPilot preferred).
