The Workday Financials/Professional Services Automation Senior Principal Consultant โ€“ Global Application Managed Services (AMS) is a wellโ€‘experienced postโ€‘production professional who is dynamic, fastโ€‘paced, and familiar with the managed services construct. As a Workday Financials AMS Senior Principal Consultant, you will bring your functional skills, ability to keep the business context in sight, and rollโ€‘upโ€‘yourโ€‘sleeves work ethic to a team with a positive, canโ€‘do attitude, a collaborative culture, and a passion for helping our clients to be successful.

Responsibilities
  • Onshore lead who leads Workday Professional Services Automation & Financials workstream for the assigned set of accounts (Partner certification is mandatory).
  • Apply and execute various AMS and/or Implementation methodologies/activities in these Workday FINS/PSA engagements.
  • Collaborate with the offshore/earshore teams on dayโ€‘toโ€‘day activities, incidents, rootโ€‘cause analysis and other work requests.
  • Collaborate with crossโ€‘functional teams within operations and finance to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday Financial configurations.
  • Lead the dayโ€‘toโ€‘day management of the Workday Financials solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize Workday Financials processes and configurations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Understand Workday Financials product releases and oversee system regression testing.
  • Have good knowledge in SLA constructs and adherence.
  • Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to create high business impact.
  • Contribute to the operational efficiency of the Workday practice.
  • Proactively identify and develop reporting dashboards to improve Workday utilization, creating solutions that support metrics for IT and business stakeholders.
  • Work with clients to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframe.
  • Maintain the Workday platform with a focus on reporting (including scheduled reports), business process maintenance, security administration, data loads and data audits.
  • Be comfortable with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively, and thrive in a fastโ€‘paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ensure the team delivers project deliverables on time and consistently reminds vendors and project team members with timely reminders.
  • Drive continual business process improvements throughout the organization.
  • Lead a team of Workday consultants across multiple engagements.
Skills/Requirements
  • A bachelorโ€™s degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5โ€‘7 years of Corporate Applications portfolio experience and at least 3โ€‘5 years of clientโ€‘facing roles handling managed services in a global delivery model.
  • Expert level understanding of Workday Financials domain.
  • Workday Professional Services Automation certification is mandatory.
  • Able to multitask and perform a variety of duties.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to solve customer problems.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to solve complex incidents, provide suggestions / best practices.
