Job Title: Dock Construction Foreman
Location: Primary work in Newport Beach, with additional sites in Long Beach, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Dock Construction Foreman to lead construction and repair of docks. This role includes overseeing daily site operations, managing crew performance, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations on dock construction and repair projects

  • Supervise and guide a team of crew members

  • Ensure work meets project plans, deadlines, and quality expectations

  • Maintain a safe and organized worksite

  • Communicate with project managers and leadership regarding progress and issues

  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and tool usage

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction, with previous experience as a Foreman

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities

  • Proficiency in carpentry techniques and tools

  • Hands-on experience with construction equipment, hand tools, and power tools

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and jobsite best practices

  • Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Must have own hand tools, work boots, and dependable transportation to and from the job site
