Job description

Location: San Francisco/Los Angeles
Employment Type: Full-Time
About Atlas
Atlas is the concierge charge card built for those who expect more - unlocking access to world-class dining, luxury travel, and lifestyle experiences, while making spending seamless.
Our members are discerning, high-spending individuals and companies who rely on Atlas for insider access, curated service, and unmatched reliability.
In just two years, we've organically scaled to hundreds of millions in spend volume, growing double digits month over month. Backed by Y Combinator, Valar Ventures (Peter Thiel), Eric Schmidt, Elad Gill, and other leading fintech and consumer investors, Atlas is building the modern alternative to Amex Centurion, with a high-margin, high-growth model and a clear path to over $1B in spend volume.
Our team is lean, senior, and fast-moving, with experience across Apple, Robinhood, Instacart, Rimowa, Revolut, and more.
The Role
We're hiring a Web Engineer to help build the interfaces that power Atlas's core customer-facing experiences.
You'll work across the stack to craft fast, intuitive, and high-quality web experiences-integrating with APIs, building responsive UIs, and shaping how users interact with Atlas's most critical products. This is an opportunity to move fast, ship often, and have an outsized impact on a product people truly love.
What You'll Do:
  • Own and build the core customer-facing web experience - fast, elegant, and worthy of a premium card product
  • Design and ship 0 → 1 features alongside product and design, with high ownership and minimal process
  • Set the bar for what "great" looks like in web - performance, polish, and craft
  • Work directly with APIs and backend systems to deliver real-time, reliable user experiences
  • Move quickly from idea to production - shipping high-quality code at a high velocity
  • Simplify complex workflows into intuitive, user-first interfaces
  • Continuously raise the standard of our frontend architecture and developer experience
What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of front-end web development experience
  • Familiar with modern web technologies such as Typescript, Svelte, React, Astro, SSR, and others
  • Able to manually test and review code change requests for completeness and stability
  • Familiar with both component-level and end-to-end testing strategies

Nice to have:
  • Experience with SvelteKit
You also bring...
  • Strong product taste - you care deeply about craft, details, and user experience, not just getting things shipped
  • High ownership - you see problems end-to-end and don't wait to be told what to do
  • Speed with judgment - you move fast, but know when to go deep vs. when to ship
  • Clear, direct communication - you can align teams, push back thoughtfully, and drive decisions
  • Low ego, high standards - you raise the bar for yourself and the team without creating drag
  • Comfort with ambiguity - you thrive in 0 → 1 environments where not everything is defined
  • Strong collaboration - you work seamlessly across product, design, and engineering to turn ideas into reality
  • A builder mindset - you care about impact over process and default to action
Why Join Us
  • Join a high-growth fintech redefining lifestyle and payments for the most discerning customers on the planet
  • Work with a small, elite team that's built products like the iPhone and moves fast with a focus on performance and precision
  • Be part of a culture that rewards autonomy, encourages innovation, and treats its employees with the same level of care we provide our members
  • Operate in a culture that rewards results with real ownership and the chance to build things that materially impact our members' daily lives
  • Full Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
  • 401k Plan
  • $400 Work from Home reimbursement
  • Unlimited Time Off.
  • A hybrid environment with flexibility when needed.
