Overview
Florida Woman Care is actively recruiting a full-time OB/GYN to join our established, physician-led practice in Winter Haven, Florida. Nestled between Tampa and Orlando along the I-4 corridor, Winter Haven offers the best of both worlds-easy access to major metro amenities with a lower cost of living and a strong sense of community. Recognized as the #1 Great Place in Florida by the American Planning Association, Winter Haven is an ideal place to live, work, and grow your career.
Position Highlights:
  • Team Based Care: Join a team of 2 Ob-Gyn physicians, 2 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), 3 Women's Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNPs), and a full clinical support staff, including a Rad Tech.
  • Schedule: Enjoy a 4.5-day work week with one dedicated surgery day with block time available.
  • Call Structure: No call responsibilities required (call is an option for those needing to maintain knowledge/skill)
  • Obstetrics Coverage: Physicians primarily perform scheduled C-sections. Vaginal deliveries are managed by CNMs. Ob delivery is supported by the hospitalist team.
  • Practice Setting: Single-site, located in Winter Haven, FL equipped with onsite ultrasound, Medtronic InterStim systems
  • Hospital Resources: Access to a Level II NICU, MFM, da Vinci robotic surgical system, and an Ambulatory Surgery Center.
