Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist, you will be a critical member of our Imaging Services team, responsible for performing a comprehensive range of general, neuro, and interventional radiography procedures across diverse patient settings. 

Every day you will meticulously perform X-rays, fluorscopies, portables, and surgical imaging (OR/Litho) procedures, meticulously following two-patient identification and gel in/out protocols. 

To be successful in this role, you will be a High School Graduate with at least six months of radiology experience and completion of an approved American College of Radiology Radiologic Technologist program. 

  • Performs exams based on skeletal anatomy and patient habitus
  • Assists radiologist in performance of Fluoro procedures
  • Performs radiologic exams in all areas of the hospital. Interdepartmentally, Portables, Surgery, Litho, ER/Trauma
  • Prepares patients for and performs catheterization for urinary studies: VCUG, Urethrogram, Cystogram
  • Evaluates and communicates patient history to radiologist in preparation for IV contrast
  • Assists Imaging Support in locating films, printing reports and assisting physicians
  • Completes hospital/departmental forms per protocol
  • Maintains the integrity of a sterile field during procedures that call for such precautions: Surgery, PICC Lines, Urinary, Catheterization
