Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.
Every day you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.
To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

Job Requirements

Required:

• High School Graduate or GED
• Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program
• Medical Radiographer: CA
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
• Current BLS through Americal Heart Association 

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.

• Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety.

• Medical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS

Preferred:

• One (1) year experience as a CT/Radiologic Technologist 
• Six (6) months experience in an outpatient environment

Dignity Health Advanced Imaging, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, provides cutting-edge diagnostic imaging services at 23 locations across Redding, Santa Cruz, Sacramento, Woodland. Our team of 160 staff members work with our specialty trained and board certified radiologists to provide high quality care to our patients. Qualifications:

Required:
