We're hiring a VP, Marketplace ICHRA General Manager to join our Lucie team.

Lucie is the first all-in-one storefront designed to give consumers, businesses, and employees total control over their healthcare. About the role:

The VP, Marketplace ICHRA General Manager is a critical executive leader responsible for running and growing the Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) business for Lucie Health Marketplace. Reporting directly to the President of Lucie, this role maintains full strategic and operational ownership over Lucie's end-to-end ICHRA business line.

This role requires a proven executive with deep expertise in ICHRA, health insurance technology, and scaling high-performing commercial and business operations teams. It offers a unique opportunity to lead a growth-focused business unit backed by proven proprietary platform technology. The ideal candidate will have the autonomy to build, scale, and lead a market-defining business line positioned at the critical intersection of individual health marketplaces and employer-sponsored benefits.

Work Location: This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, or Washington, D.C.. A hybrid work schedule, with 3 days of in-office work per week, may be required depending on your metro area. #LI-Remote

Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $240,000 - $315,000 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Own Business Strategy & GTM Execution: Drive the commercial design, product positioning, and long-term go-to-market strategy to scale Lucie's market share in the growing ICHRA landscape
  • Expand Distribution Channels: Identify, secure, and manage high-value business development relationships, including third-party administrators, agents/agencies, and employers
  • Align Product with Market Demand: Act as the strategic bridge between market demand and technical execution, collaborating with Product and Engineering leaders to build a scalable, seamless, and best-in-class enrollment experience
  • Lead Commercial Enablement: Oversee B2B marketing initiatives, broker training frameworks, and automated onboarding workflows to drive platform adoption and increase user utilization
  • Execute Upward Communication: Manage financial and operational performance metrics for the business line, regular reporting on progress, and presenting business results to executive leadership
  • Build and Manage a High-Performing Team: Recruit, mentor, and lead a cross-functional division spanning account management, partnership sales, tech, and business operations specialists
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Work Experience: 15+ years of corporate experience, with clear progression leading high-growth business units, SaaS verticals, or commercial strategy divisions
  • Industry Expertise: At least 5+ years of dedicated experience within health insurance, insurance technology (InsurTech), or the employee benefits space
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep operational understanding of ICHRA regulations, defined-contribution health strategies, and individual/group health distribution networks
  • Leadership Track Record: Proven experience scaling a complex business line or digital platform from early-stage manual operations into a highly optimized, repeatable commercial engine

Bonus points:

  • Work Experience: Prior experience explicitly working within an Enhanced Direct Enrollment (EDE) platform environment, a major FMO/GA network, or an established ICHRA administration vendor
  • Systems & Operations: Familiarity with modern enterprise healthcare technology architecture, digital marketplaces, and data-driven product management
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of CMS guidelines, ACA compliance requirements, and healthcare administration workflows
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a technically adjacent field
