Cleared American Guard (CAG) with TS/SCI Clearance with CI-Poly
Aurora, CO
Join IDS International's National Security Services team supporting secure & mission-critical environments.
The Cleared American Guard serves as a professional Security Escort supporting operations within secure facilities. This role is responsible for escorting uncleared personnel, maintaining continuous awareness of activity within restricted areas, and ensuring full compliance with customer security protocols. The position requires strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and consistent adherence to safety and security procedures in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain continuous visual contact and awareness of escorted individuals to ensure compliance with all security requirements
  • Enforce and adhere to all company, customer, and government safety and security policies
  • Communicate professionally with site leadership, security personnel, vendors, and visitors
  • Represent the program and IDS International in a professional and customer-facing capacity
  • Complete escort logs, reports, or other administrative requirements as assigned
  • Perform additional mission-related or administrative duties as required

Required Qualifications
Clearance: Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly) required
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Required Experience:
  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in security, military, facilities support, or a related field
  • Ability to acquire and maintain access to the assigned secure facility
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to walk up to 5 miles per day
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
  • Ability to perform duties requiring manual dexterity and effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply written and verbal instructions

Work Schedule & Conditions
Standard Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4 x 10 work weeks
Shift: 0530-1600
*Employees will receive up to four (4) hours of regular pay if a scheduled shift is canceled after arrival
Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week
OT Hours: Overtime is project-based and applies only to individuals assigned to projects that require extra hours, not to the entire team
Flexibility Requirement: Work schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays to support on-site activities
Environment:
  • Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments under varying conditions
  • Role may involve prolonged standing, walking, and sitting throughout the shift
  • Must work effectively as part of a team and support administrative or secondary duties when escort activity is limited
  • Personal devices and non-work-related activities are not permitted while performing escort duties
  • Employees are not authorized to operate facility equipment or systems

Compensation & Benefits
Rate: $ 45.00 per hour
Benefits: Health, 401(k), PTO & Sick Leave, and Paid Holidays are available to all W2 employees of IDS
