Summary
Native American Bank is a one-of-kind institution that is an Agent of Change for Native Communities. At our core, we are committed to the vision and mission of the Bank. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Credit Analyst to conduct complex credit analyses including gathering, analyzing and interpreting all types of commercial lending credit information on existing and prospective customers and portfolio while assuring compliance policy objectives are met.
*This role is only open to candidates currentlyresiding within a 45 miles radius from Denver, CO at this time
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present credit reports to SVP/Chief Credit Officer and committee meetings for use in making lending decisions on new, renewal and extension of loans.
  • Recommend loan decisions for approval or denial based upon thorough analysis.
  • Recommend a risk grade associated with each new and existing loan request.
  • Monitor customer accounts and loan portfolios to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential loss and monitor ongoing borrower performance through measurement of loan covenants.
  • Assist in collecting and spreading financial statement information.
  • Assist in the development of manuals and supporting documentation to accomplish tasks/duties inherent in this position.
  • Prepare internal reports for bank officers as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications
  • Well-developed credit analysis and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of economics, accounting, and finance.
  • Basic knowledge of credit administration, policy, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of loan documentation and process.
  • Basic knowledge of risk analysis.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Effective technical report writing skills.
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Effective organizational skills, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work and handle multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail, self-motivation and the ability to take initiative.
  • Minimum of Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field from an accredited college/university
  • A minimum of 4+ years of banking experience in advanced commercial credit analysis and/or lending activities in Lending analysis is required for this position.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
