We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Physical Therapist to join our full-time team at Amedisys Physical Therapy's Rehabilitation Facility in Keansburg, New Jersey. In this critical role, you will assess, evaluate, and implement tailored treatment plans for patients experiencing functional limitations and disabilities due to various conditions. You will ensure that each treatment approach not only meets the individual needs of patients but also adheres to best practices and regulatory standards.

Our Rehabilitation Facility is designed to facilitate optimal recovery and rehabilitation for our patients. Operating onsite, our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic technology and resources that enhance the treatment process. Our full-time therapists work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, ensuring holistic patient care in a supportive and engaging atmosphere. Weekly scheduled hours are set at 40, with variable weekend shifts as needed to accommodate patient demand.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional capabilities.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure clear understanding of treatment goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment procedures, progress notes, and discharge plans in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in leadership initiatives within the facility, such as community outreach programs, continuous quality improvement initiatives, and marketing efforts, to promote the rehabilitation services offered.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including physical therapy assistants, ensuring compliance with care protocols and enhancing the overall team performance.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to remain current with best practices and innovations in physical therapy.

At Amedisys Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, strokes, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems.

A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Candidates with experience in rehabilitative care or outpatient settings will have a distinct advantage. Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities or patient populations would also be beneficial.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
