Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech)- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC): Per-Diem

This opportunity is Per- Diem with a convenient day shift schedule.

The surgical technician functions as a cooperative team member in the Surgical Services department by demonstrating the ability to provide constant technical assistance to the surgeon within his or her scope of practice. The surgical technician follows the current professional practice standards, rules and regulations set forth by AORN and AST. The surgical technician must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the institution.

Job Requirements

  • โ€‹โ€‹Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent 
  • โ€‹Surgical Technician certification is preferred 
  • โ€‹Six months of operating room experience 
  • โ€‹Current American Heart Association BLS Certificationโ€‹
