Job description

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager for its Amazon Shipping US Finance team supporting FP&A. This person will be a key leader in the Finance organization supporting strategic planning, reporting, and controllership. This is a very high impact and high visibility role supporting the growing US business as it seeks to scale through new demand streams.

The person in this role has advancement opportunities to support different businesses and to lead programs or products.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive the core financial processes for the organization including Annual Operating Plans, 3-year Strategic Plan, and Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs, and make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure.
- Partner with senior business leaders and develop operational metrics and goal setting to help the team improve performance.
- Ensure high degree of controllership by establishing risk mitigating measures and approvals in accordance with our Spending and Transaction policy and create GRC processes.
- Work on delivering key automation projects.
- Use active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjust style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly. Your communication drives critical business decisions.
- Analyze ROI of different programs/initiatives to improve revenue and reduce costs and generate actionable insights from large amounts of data.
- Have backbone, disagree and commit to foster constructive dialogues, harmonize conflicting views, resolve issues, and drive decisions.
- Exhibit social responsibility

Actively recruit bar-raising talent, continuously develop your team.
