The Manager, Amazon Media will take on a primary role in the planning and execution of key strategic initiatives within the Amazon platform. This individual will support the division to develop, implement and manage all aspects of the L'Oréal retail media strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, budget management, reporting on behalf of the division and work with outside agencies to manage Amazon media programs that maximize brand image, sales of specific product lines, and drive brand performance.
The role reports directly into the Retail Media, Amazon Pod Lead and requires ongoing collaboration with multiple internal & external stakeholders including but not limited to the division CDMO, global stakeholders, finance, and other LUSA leadership.
Skills Required:
  • Familiarity and expertise with the Amazon Advertising ecosystem- programmatic, search and display or similar experience (hands on keyboard experience a must)
  • Ability to implement media best practices to take full advantage of the Amazon ecosystem
  • A working knowledge of all media channels and the prowess to remain diligent on market trends and marketplace conditions
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic planning and program implementation in the digital space
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on process especially when managing numerous budgets and reporting to internal team(s)
  • Experience working with/ management of agency partners and internal teams
  • Ability to translate brand and campaign objectives into strategic optimizations
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic planning, partnership development and program implementation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and respectfully cross-functionally and create clarity within an emerging capability that touches multiple teams
  • Experience leveraging 3rd party tools (i.e. Pacvue, Vendor / Seller Central, etc) to drive business results
  • Passion for building full-funnel campaigns, and ability to leverage tactical tools (i.e. AMC, 3rd party studies) to prove out success
  • Ability to analyze brand and campaign performance, as well as execute and present media investment performance clearly to key stakeholders and leadership

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5+ years experience with a traditional agency or media-focused role (Amazon ads experience a must, Amazon DSP required)
  • Strong project management skills, including experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing based on business need and estimated impact.
  • Experience writing RFP's/ briefing agency partners
  • Effectively communicate (both verbally and written) with multiple groups, including presentations
  • Ability to effectively present to and persuade an individual or group or people.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, results and solution oriented, strategic thinker
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

Judgment and Decision Making:
This role will require a balance of analytical thinking, communication skills and data management skills as it will require a demonstrated ability to develop consumer knowledge and insight and to act on the data in collaboration with internal brand & external account partners. It requires constant interaction within a matrixed business structure (Marketing, Ecommerce, GM, CMO) to coordinate work and deliver objectives. Actively builds networks and becomes in-house expert on the account to influence, convince, and introduce new ways of engaging our consumers via media.
