Title : PeopleSoft Specialist Business Analyst - Functional Lead

Location: Albany NY Remote

Duration: 36 Months

Detailed Description of Engagement:

Gather and document functional requirements, create design specifications, and ensure alignment with operational needs. The role also involves developing and executing test scenarios, reviewing results, and leading knowledge transfer sessions. Strong analytical skills and experience in business analysis, functional documentation, and testing are required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Seven or more years of business analysis experience using PeopleSoft including in each of all the following knowledge areas (as defined by the International Institute of Business Analysis' "A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge {BABOK Guide}"):
  • business analysis planning and monitoring
  • elicitation and collaboration
  • requirements life cycle management
  • strategy analysis
  • requirements analysis and design definition
  • solution evaluation
  • Seven or more years of experience in reading and creating SQLs.
  • Seven or more years of experience utilizing an understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and table structures.
  • Four or more years of experience directing functional resources in a PeopleSoft environment.
  • Two or more years of experience providing knowledge transfer on new technologies and/or the developed application to other business analysts.
  • Two or more years of experience performing business analysis in the PeopleSoft modules specified in the CRD {IH, CRM,HCM, FIN}.
  • Four or more years of experience serving as a functional lead on projects using PeopleSoft.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business Analysis experience working in a government setting using PeopleSoft.
  • Experience developing functional solutions in areas where the business problem is complex, impacts multiple stakeholders, has significant customer resistance, or has significant constraints.
  • Experience providing knowledge transfer on new technologies and/or the developed application to other business analysts.
  • Experience supporting a pension benefit administration solution in a government setting.
