Job description

Managed Application Platform (MAP) is a unified platform for managing applications at Amazon. MAP eliminates undifferentiated work and makes deployments safe, efficient, and scalable across the company.
We are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to drive complex, cross-organizational programs spanning Amazon's deployment infrastructure. This role encompasses deployment systems (handling millions of deployments daily), Custom AMI Baking, and the Managed OS Platform

The ideal candidate brings deep technical acumen in distributed systems and deployment infrastructure, with a demonstrated ability to operate at Amazon scale across multiple organizations.
Key job responsibilities
Program leadership across deployment systems, Custom AMI , and Managed OS Platform. Cross-org coordination, roadmap planning, dependency management, region builds/partition launches, operational excellence, stakeholder management at VP/Director level, risk management, and driving engineering velocity.

Managed Application Platform (MAP) is a unified platform org under Amazon Software Builder Experience org, with the mission of eliminating undifferentiated work and making deployments safe and efficient across Amazon. MAP owns several critical tier-one services including Amazon's deployment system handling millions of deployments per day, Provisioning system), Host patching systems , custom AMI baking, DJS (Distributed Job Scheduler), and AL Enablement, operating with engineers across eight teams under Software Foundations and Management (SFM)
