Job description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly effective candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative memory based technology to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world.
AWS is seeking a Memory Technologist that lives, eats and breathes memory innovation. You will work with many engineering teams, in and outside of AWS, to create new products. You will lead the technical product strategy of memory technologies (DRAM, HBM and new emerging memory) and products to better meet our customers rapidly growing infrastructure needs in both Compute and GenAI. You are expected to bring strong knowledge of Semiconductor technology/process and proven ability to drive product roadmaps from concept through mass production.
Unbound by the status quo of today's technology landscape, you will lead and own key strategic projects and ensure successful completion.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop silicon based product strategy for AWS hardware infrastructure.
- Develop deep understanding of DRAM, NAND Memory Industry initiatives, and technology
- Identify key technology trends in the industry and drive supplier product roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives in those products
- Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Provide weekly core-team updates, deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis, and manage vendor escalations in order to resolve any issues related to your projects
- Develop presentation via written narratives
Key job responsibilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- 7+ years of working with Advanced Compute technologies including, but not limited to: Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, Visual/Spatial Compute, and/or IoT. experience
- 7+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- 7+ years of Memory/Storage silicon experience, including but not limited to a technical knowledge DRAM, HBM wafer, but also an emphasis on downstream products that use them (e.g. Server Architecture, ASIC silicon)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- Experience thinking and working creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy within a partner ecosystem

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
