Job description

Are you passionate about applying AI to solve the most complex mission related challenges for Federal Civilian customers? Do you thrive at the intersection of cloud-native technology, federal procurement, and mission-driven impact?
AWS is looking for a Business Development Lead to drive sales and go-to-market execution for AI mission solutions across our Federal Civilian Health portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of Account teams, GENAI specialists, ProServe, and Partners - shaping strategic deals and building the GTM strategy to deliver mission-critical GenAI solutions from concept to contract across Federal Health agencies. You'll work directly with agency mission owners and senior executives to understand their priorities and drive mission outcomes.
The portfolio includes Generative AI, Agentic AI, Fraud Waste & Abuse detection, Supply Chain Modernization, Amazon Connect, Migration and Modernization. You don't need to be a deep technologist on all of these - but you need to know enough to have credible conversations and pull in the right specialists at the right time.
This is a role for someone who's comfortable building in ambiguity. The GTM motions here are still being shaped, and you'll have a direct hand in defining them.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen.
Key job responsibilities
Define and execute GTM strategy for AI mission solutions across the FedCiv Health portfolio - GenAI, Agentic AI, FWA, Supply Chain, Connect, Data Center/Mainframe Migration, and Health Data Foundation.
Build and manage qualified pipeline aligned to revenue targets. Develop account-level strategies that connect agency health missions to specific AWS solutions with a clear path to award.
Coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams - account reps, solutions architects, ProServe, GenAI Innovation Center, Specialty Sales, partners - to move deals through the pipeline efficiently.
Identify and activate partners (SIs, ISVs, schedule holders) that extend our reach and accelerate time-to-award on health AI opportunities.
Engage agency stakeholders - mission owners, CIOs, procurement - to build relationships and position AWS as a credible partner for health modernization.
Maintain working knowledge of procurement vehicles, budget cycles, incumbent landscape, and competitive positioning across your accounts.
Work with ProServe and the GenAI Innovation Center to shape new AI offerings, validate them with early adopters, and scale what works.
