Job Title: House Manager & Family Assistant
Location: Pacific Palisades, CA 90272
Employment Type: (25-40 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work one weekend day; flexibility to house-sit during travel, as needed.
Compensation: $32-$40/hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
Family Support & Child Assistance:
  • Pick-up/drop-offs for school and activities
  • Backup childcare
Household Management & Organization:
  • Create and/or Maintain household organization systems
  • Daily resets and prep home for cleaners
  • Light tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas)
  • Seasonal swaps (clothing, dรฉcor, bedding)
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs
  • Event/holiday/guest prep
  • Packing/unpacking for travel
  • Indoor plant care
  • Change batteries, light bulbs, smoke detectors, etc.
Meal Planning & Prep:
  • Help with meal prep (grocery shopping, chopping vegetables)
  • Follow healthy diet needs/preferences
  • Maintain kitchen tidiness, cleaning after meal prep
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects:
  • Refresh garage/mudroom/entry
  • Clean humidifiers/air purifiers, other special cleaning tasks as needed
  • Organizational projects (toys, closets, gear)
  • Assembly of small furniture
Inventory & Errands:
  • Restock pantry/fridge/household supplies
  • Manage running household supply lists and orders (Amazon, Costco, etc.)
  • Handle dry cleaning, returns, gift shopping, and mail/packages
  • Breakdown boxes and recycling management
  • Mail and package handling, Amazon returns
Pet Care:
  • Feed/walk pets, schedule vet/grooming appointments
  • Maintain pet supplies
Vehicle Management:
  • Schedule vehicle maintenance
  • Fuel, clean, and organize vehicles
  • Track registration/insurance
Vendor & Property Oversight:
  • Coordinate with cleaners, contractors, landscapers
