Job description

Amazon Payments builds the foundational systems, experiences, and payment products for Amazon customers that are trusted, valued and easy to use from anywhere in any way. We are looking for a CX-focused, growth-oriented Product Manager, Tech (PMT) to accelerate the go-to-market and optimization of payments businesses' global Amazon Stores CX.
In this role, you will drive innovation and customer-centric solutions that impact millions of customers worldwide, working at the intersection of AI+ML tech, customer experience, and business strategy. You will be responsible for defining and driving a technical product strategy and foundational systems accelerating experimentation in payment product recommendations CX globally. As part of your role, you will own the product roadmap in your charter, author business and technical requirements, develop metrics and actionable insights, and influence architectural decisions in a global AI-powered recommendations engine. You will partner directly with a global set of payments business leads and marketers and build alongside Product, Engineering, ML Science, Data Engineering, Design, and Business Analysts.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator bridging CX and tech, proactively seek growth opportunities, make clear tradeoffs between customer benefit, business impact, and engineering complexity. You must also be capable of coordinating cross-functionally across global stakeholders, be comfortable diving deep into data, systems architecture, and ML-powered product experiences.
Key job responsibilities
Shape and own a long-term technical product vision and strategy for Amazon Payments' global Stores recommendations experience initiatives.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, science, legal, and business teams spanning multiple geographies.
Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities that advance customer experience and business objectives at global scale.
Lead the development of multi-year roadmaps that balance innovation with automation and operational excellence.
A day in the life
You will be heavily involved in go-to-market growth and experimentation practices at global scale, developing the solutions that drive its scale. You will drive customer-facing CX launches, build global reporting and operational processes, author BRDs and technical requirements, drive sprint planning and prioritization with engineering teams, and present performance insights and strategic recommendations to business leaders. You will work in close collaboration Product, Engineering, ML Science, Data Engineering, Design, and Business Analysts to identify new opportunities to invent and simplify.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience delivering and optimizing ecommerce CX to end-customers at global scale.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
