We deliver exclusive magical, connected features that work across a family's collection of Amazon devices.

Members of this team specifically help kids and their parents maximize the value of their Amazon Kids+ subscription to create, play, and learn on their Fire Kids Tablets.
Our goal is to create a revolutionary experience for parents and kids to enjoy on our Amazon family of devices. Working for Amazon Kids offers a creative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you will be at the center of Amazon innovation.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will you build mobile software for kids that allows them to access and enjoy the Amazon Kids+ subscription on their tablet:
- You will own long-term quality and success of the products that your team builds and drive continuous improvement in engineering and operational excellence
- You will work with your manager and teammates to clarify requirements, design solutions, and solve difficult software problems
- You will identify appropriate tradeoffs and escalate when you realize that a problem is beyond your control
- You will mentor your new teammates and help them learn to develop production software that meets Amazon's quality bar
A day in the life
As an engineer on the Amazon Kids+ Tablet Engineering team, you will leverage your experience as a software engineer to solve difficult technical problems and deliver compelling features to customers

You'll invent, design and build software that solves day-to-day challenges that kids and their parents face. You'll work closely with your leadership and product management stakeholders to design simple solutions. You'll help to maintain our production software in the field and you'll identify our pain points and drive your team to solve them.
