Additional locations throughout the TVA service territory may be available. Posting Open: 08/24/2026 Posting Close: 10/02/2026 at 11:59 PM EST Salary: Competitive *Disclaimer on applying to only one posting, considered for all opportunities that align with your skillset* Computer Science interns will support strengthening the reliability, availability, and resilience of TVA's electronic and information-based assets and could perform tasks such as assisting with management of cloud computing and support the delivery of TVA computing systems and technologies across the enterprise.

Cybersecurity interns will support cyber experts in keeping organization programs and systems secure which could include assessing and testing operational security and compliance or identifying abnormalities and reporting violations. Analytics interns will work with analysts to develop and manage technology standards, ensure effective change management ,and key performance initiatives and tasks could include review of metrics to learn and refine strategy and tactics. Preferred majors: Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Technology Position Purpose: Intern will develop an understanding of the assigned business unit, as it relates to its functional purpose and will learn standard work, strategies, philosophies, programs, and initiatives within the organization.

Principal Accountabilities: Example duties include: Become familiar with the TVA business, organization, key decision makers, business processes and procedures. The intern will have the opportunity to interact with leaders and team members while learning the key components that drive their business unit's strategic direction. Develop working knowledge of critical business functions as outlined by the intern's manager and business unit.

Learn to apply policies and procedures across the organizations: recommend continuous improvement changes in support of business needs and proactively develop an understanding of policies, procedures, and culture and communicate these to new and existing employees. Education: Seeking majors in Engineering disciplines, Data Analytics, Business-related disciplines, Computer Science/IT, and other related degrees. Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program at the time of internship. Must have 30 semester hours completed.
