Job description

About mophie

Mophie is the most trusted name in mobile power — a brand built on fifteen years of innovation

inside the Apple ecosystem. As a ZAGG brand, mophie is entering an ambitious new chapter:

rebuilding its direct-to-consumer business, deepening its relationship with the most passionate

Apple users on the planet, and scaling a performance marketing engine that can compete at the

highest level. Amazon is one of the most important channels in that engine — and this hire is the

person who runs it.

The Opportunity

Amazon represents one of mophie's largest and most strategically important revenue channels.

This is not a coordinator role or a campaign manager role. The Senior Manager of Amazon is a

channel owner — responsible for strategy, execution, profitability, and growth across Amazon US

and Canada.

Working in close partnership with the Senior Director of Performance Marketing and the CMO, this

person will help shape mophie's Amazon strategy from the ground up — and share day-to-day

execution responsibilities alongside a boutique agency partner. This is a hands-on role: you will be

constantly in the data, analyzing performance, and triggering optimizations directly. The agency

extends the team's capacity; this role owns the outcomes.

What You Will Own
Channel Strategy
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Performance Marketing and CMO to develop mophie's
  • Amazon channel strategy — including assortment prioritization, forecasting, pricing architecture, content standards, and media investment approach.
  • Define how Amazon fits within the broader DTC and performance marketing strategy, and ensure the channel is pulling in the same direction as the rest of the business.
  • Bring a long-term view to the channel: build for sustainable, profitable growth — not short-term revenue spikes that erode margin or brand equity.
Day-to-Day Execution
  • Own the daily operation of mophie's Amazon US and Amazon Canada channels — listings, content, inventory coordination, promotions, buy box health, compliance, and seller performance metrics.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic lead for the agency partner — setting direction, reviewing work, holding the agency accountable to performance standards, and escalating issues quickly.
  • Ensure listing quality is consistently high: titles, bullets, A+ content, imagery, and brand store are always optimized and on-brand.
  • Monitor and respond to competitive activity, pricing shifts, and algorithm changes with speed and precision.
  • Monitor and respond to Amazon compliance inquiries. Responding to Andon cords to ensure product remain live. Coordinate with Amazon and product teams to submit compliance document in a timely manner.

Paid Media — Amazon Ads amp; DSP

  • Suggest the Amazon Ads strategy across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display — with a clear framework for campaign structure, keyword strategy, bid management, and budget pacing.
  • Develop and recommend Amazon DSP campaigns that extend mophie's reach beyond search — retargeting, conquest, and audience-based prospecting.
  • Work with the agency on campaign execution while maintaining direct visibility into account structure, performance, and optimization decisions.
  • Ensure media investment is always tied to contribution margin targets — not just revenue or ROAS in isolation.

P amp;L amp; Profitability

  • Maintain product-level contribution margin visibility across the mophie Amazon assortment — understanding the true profitability of each SKU after ad spend, fees, and fulfillment costs.
  • Use margin data to drive acceleration and de-prioritization decisions: double down on SKUs with strong contribution profiles, pull back on poor performers.
  • Flag pricing, fee, or cost structure issues proactively
  • Own the Amazon channel P amp;L and report performance clearly to the Sr. Director of Performance Marketing and CMO on a regular cadence.

Assortment amp; Product Strategy

  • Partner with Product Marketing to ensure the right SKUs are represented on Amazon with the right content, pricing, and visibility.
