Are you ready to get in on the ground floor of Amazon's long-term initiative to design, launch and maintain a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. It's Day 1 for Amazon's next billion dollar business and we are looking for an entrepreneurial minded Finance Analyst to work in a start-up environment who is passionate about technology, who thinks/acts globally, and has the ability to create and implement solutions, processes and controls with a focus on the public sector.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with an ability to build and articulate financial results and analytical insights to senior business and finance leaders. You will be familiar with managing and preparing financial analysis, critical to tracking the performance of the Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) contracts and overall business performance

This role requires a self-starter with superb business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a track record of delivering results to the business. You will be analytical in approach, have a demonstrated ability to develop financial models that provide intelligence for business decisions and be able to leverage your leadership skills to drive business objectives.

- Develop financial models for new business concepts and initiatives, and resulting financial impact to help drive data driven decision making including long range financial plans and business case analysis
- Manage, prepare, administer, and direct the control of the budget for Government programs
- Identify root causes of data issues, escalates discrepancies, fixes data where possible or partners to deliver a solution
- Ability to create financial dashboards and streamline data
- Develop financial benchmarking analysis of key competitors
