Job description

Northwest Texas Healthcare System, a 495-bed acute care medical center located in Amarillo, Texas, provides comprehensive acute care and outpatient services to the 500,000+ residents of the Texas Panhandle and surrounding region. The hospital is currently recruiting a BC/BE Otolaryngologist for a position with the ENT practice in our employed group, Northwest Physicians Group.

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is a tertiary care facility and teaching hospital known throughout the region for cardiac, stroke, emergency, and children s services. The 58-bed Heart Hospital at NWTHS is the only dedicated specialty heart hospital in the Panhandle, and an accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI. As a Level II and the Lead Trauma Center for the 26-county Texas Panhandle and certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, the hospital treats over 64,000 patients in its ED each year. Northwest Children s Hospital is the Panhandle s primary Pediatric provider, offering subspecialty care, a 35-bed Level III NICU and a 12-bed PICU. The Childbirth Center, Inpatient Behavioral Health care, Surgical services in robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ortho trauma, and other key services make Northwest the healthcare system of choice in the region. NWTHS is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), one of the nation's largest hospital and healthcare management companies.
