A little about this position:
  • Your passion for outdoor activities, combined with your knowledge of activity operations and leadership skills, will help create memorable experiences for our guests. Join us in inspiring and guiding both team members and guests in a fun and dynamic environment at Mammoth's newest year-round attraction, Woolly's Adventure Summit.
  • In this role, you will help oversee the daily outdoor operations of the tubing park & mountain coaster including managing lift operations, staffing levels, grooming, and equipment maintenance. You'll lead a dedicated team to ensure a safe, efficient, and enjoyable experience for our guests. When the Operations Manager is unavailable, you will take charge of all operational aspects, making quick decisions to maintain the highest standards of service and safety.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Outdoor activities experience preferred
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a strong customer service orientation
  • Proven leadership experience in managing employees and fostering teamwork
  • Ability to effectively resolve guest concerns and maintain a positive atmosphere
  • Comfortable and confident in controlling large groups in a friendly and organized manner
  • Strong background in maintenance and proficient use of power tools
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and staff
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to tubing and the Mountain Coaster
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, shoveling snow, and working in varying weather conditions, including direct sun and adverse weather
  • Familiarity with snow removal equipment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in a ski resort setting

Hourly pay rate: $22.77 to $24.58
