Altera is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, design, delivery, and ongoing optimization of Altera.com. In this highly cross-functional role, you will shape the digital experience roadmap, oversee major website initiatives, and partner with marketing, sales, engineering, IT, creative, and external agencies to deliver intuitive, high-performing customer experiences.

You will lead projects spanning digital strategy, UX and visual design, website architecture, content optimization, SEO, analytics, generative AI, and emerging digital capabilities. This role is responsible for translating business needs into clear requirements, managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery from concept through launch and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Digital Strategy, UX and Visual Design

  • Lead the creation and execution of the Altera.com digital experience roadmap to improve customer experience, increase engagement, and build new functionality.

  • Collaborate with IT to drive the technology architecture for Altera.com, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across all components.

  • Lead UX design initiatives to enhance user engagement and satisfaction, ensuring a seamless experience across devices.

  • Lead the visual design direction for Altera.com, translating brand standards into compelling, accessible, and consistent digital experiences.

  • Guide the development and review of wireframes, prototypes, page templates, and reusable design components in partnership with creative, UX, and development teams.

  • Utilize emerging technologies such as generative AI and LLMs to deliver transformative improvements in user experience.

Website Operations and Optimization

  • Continuously optimize the digital experience by implementing A/B testing, improving SEO, and deploying analytics and improving conversion rates.

  • Utilize SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz) to analyze content performance and implement strategies to enhance search engine visibility and content findability.

  • Define and streamline processes to ensure high-quality content creation aligned with best practices.

  • Provide strategic guidance to business content developers to improve the end-customer experience.

Project Management and Delivery

  • Manage agency and vendor deliverables, budgets, scopes, and performance to ensure quality, accountability, and business value.

  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, decisions, and resource constraints, escalating issues and recommending mitigation plans as needed.

  • Establish project governance, milestones, status reporting, and approval processes to maintain stakeholder alignment and delivery momentum.

  • Lead end-to-end project management for website, digital experience, and technology initiatives, including scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and launch readiness.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Requirements

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and engineering stakeholders to gather business requirements.

  • Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories for the development team.

  • Prioritize requirements based on business objectives, customer needs, and technical feasibility.

The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based ona number offactors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences,trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM- or business-related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in web technology, digital experience, or website program delivery, including 3+ years leading cross-functional teams and complex projects with business, creative, agency, and IT stakeholders.

  • 3+ years of experience managing large-scale public websites, digital redesigns, or platform implementation projects.

  • Strong proficiency in Figma, with the ability to create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups. Web graphic design experience is preferred, including the ability to create visually engaging, brand-aligned digital assets and responsive web layouts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry and with customer journeys from awareness through adoption.

  • Experience directing or partnering on visual design, design systems, responsive web design, prototyping, and digital accessibility.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence executive leadership.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex initiatives, timelines, budgets, risks, vendors, and multiple stakeholders.
