Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and patient Respite Direct Support Professional to provide care for a 16-year-old male. This role focuses on supporting the individual in a safe, structured, and engaging environment while providing relief for the primary caregiver.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and care in the home and/or community setting
    Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) (e.g., hygiene, dressing, meals as needed)
    Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment
    Engage individuals in recreational and social activities
    Follow the Individual Support Plan (ISP) and caregiver instructions
    Monitor for health, safety, and behavioral concerns and report as needed
    Maintain professional boundaries while working in the home
    Complete accurate and timely documentation (service notes)
    Communicate effectively with families and supervisors
Qualifications
