Job Details

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 3rd shift shipping: Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm - 07:30am (shift times subject to change); Friday night work possible
  • $21.25 per hour, overtime after 40 hours/week
  • Know how to complete forklift inspection form daily.
  • Know how to complete product setting paperwork daily.
  • Know how to report discrepancies on shipment quantities or descriptions.
  • Know how to complete bills of lading for shipments.
  • Know how to maintain proper product rotation.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with truck drivers.
  • Be able to set orders prior to pick up date.
  • Be able to accurately complete truck mapping during shipment.
  • Be able to work in freezer temperatures.
  • Know basic math skills.
  • Know how to operate a forklift.
  • Know basic Microsoft programs.
  • Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety policies and procedures
  • Report safety incidents to supervisor/management immediately.
  • Report food safety concerns to supervisor/management immediately.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Participate in plant audit and inspection preparation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Be able to push or pull up to 200 pounds on wheeled equipment.
  • Be able to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, reaching.
  • Be able to stand for majority of shift.
  • Be able to read/write English.
  • Be able to work in high ambient temperatures.

Qualifications Required:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Six (6) months food manufacturing experience preferred.
