Job description

Key responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation of insulation, waterproofing materials, firestop systems, expansion joints, and restoration products
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
  • Prepare and clean work areas before and after jobs
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
  • Support skilled trades workers with measurements, mixing materials, and applying coatings
  • Perform demolition and debris removal when required
  • Assist with scaffolding setup, lifts, and access equipment under supervision
  • Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
  • Follow directions from supervisors and work cooperatively with team members

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous construction or labor experience preferred, but not required
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the trade
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (can be provided)
