Optometrist Opportunity In Alpha, NJ

A dynamic private practice in Alpha, NJ, is seeking a part-time optometrist to join their thriving team! They are seeking an enthusiastic professional with outstanding clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills to deliver personalized, top-notch eye care in a warm, inviting atmosphere. This practice is committed to exceptional service, offering thorough eye exams and comprehensive eye care to its cherished community. For anyone passionate about making a meaningful impact in eye care, this is the perfect opportunity to shine!

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive examinations, including refractions and medical exams.
  • Perform complete exams every 30 minutes and anterior segment or contact lens checks every 15 minutes.
  • Collaborate with technicians to complete patient pretests and work-ups using advanced equipment such as OCT, threshold testing, topography, RK measurements, Optos imaging, IOL master, and pachymetry.
Schedule
  • Looking for 2 days per week, with the possibility of some Saturdays if desired.
  • Flexibility in hours is available to accommodate your needs.
Compensation
  • Competitive pay at $600 per standard workday.
  • Paid time off and a 401(k) with matching contributions after one year of employment.
  • Alternative compensation options can be discussed for hours less than a full day.

Requirements:

  • A valid state optometry license or one actively being obtained is required.
  • 4th-year students are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
