• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies based on comprehensive assessments of client needs.
• Conduct thorough psychological evaluations and intake assessments for various mental health issues.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, applying methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate with social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, training, and educational opportunities related to developments in mental health.

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders, particularly among those who have limited access to traditional therapeutic resources. Your skills will be crucial in reducing stigma and improving the quality of care for our clients.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical or community health setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Strong collaborative abilities to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and related technologies to document client progress.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working in community health settings or with underserved populations.

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
