The Manager of Finance Operations will serve as the finance leader for the Greer facility while also acting as the primary operational partner to the VP Finance across the broader Alltrista organization. This individual will be responsible for leading the Greer finance function, coordinating financial planning and reporting activities across all plants, driving standardization of finance processes, and serving as a key contributor to strategic and operational initiatives.

This role is intended to be a high‑potential finance leadership position with significant exposure to executive leadership and a potential succession path into broader finance leadership responsibilities over time.

Primary Functions
  • Serve as Plant Controller for the Greer facility.
  • Lead all aspects of plant accounting, cost accounting, forecasting, budgeting, inventory controls, capital management, and financial reporting.
  • Partner with plant leadership to drive operational and financial performance.

  • Lead customer profitability analyses, pricing reviews, capital investment evaluations, and other financial decision‑support activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support the VP Finance in the preparation and review of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, long‑term planning, and management reporting.
  • Drive adherence to forecasting, budgeting, closing and reporting calendars.
  • Review financial deliverables and provide feedback before submission to executive leadership.
  • Lead standardization efforts across financial reporting, commentary, forecasting, and planning processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across plants.
  • Serve as a resource and subject matter expert to plant controllers throughout the organization.
  • Coordinate collection, review, and consolidation of financial information from all facilities.
  • Assist with preparation of executive reporting packages, monthly business reviews, board materials, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Drive forecast accuracy and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Support strategic projects, business cases, customer negotiations, operational improvement initiatives, and other cross‑functional efforts.
  • Act as the VP Finance's delegate on assigned projects and initiatives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Assist in the development and mentoring of plant controllers and finance staff.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive financial management.
  • Help build succession plans and organizational capability within the finance function.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, CMA, MBA or MSA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive manufacturing finance experience, including plant controller responsibilities.
  • Strong background in cost accounting, forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, and operational finance.
