This is an opportunity for an experienced operator and business leader to lead one of the most active and strategically important fire protection operations in the country.

About the Opportunity

AllState Sprinkler is currently hiring Apprentice for the Fire Alarm division. This is a great opportunity to learn a growing and in demand trade. We will train you to become a licensed, certified Fire Alarm Technician.

We are looking for hard working and hands-on individuals that want to learn a new trade in the fire protection industry. The fire protection industry is in high demand and it can be a long term career that with training, certification and years of quality hard work.

Compensation

  • This is an Hourly position and the pay rate is contingent experience and background. It will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Potential Quarterly Bonuses

Qualifications

  • A valid driver's license with 3 or less points is required.
  • Three years of licensed driving experience is required.
  • Experience using a variety of hand tools.
  • Willing to work varied hours, nights, early morning and weekend shift when needed.
  • Capable and willing to learn and study about the different alarm systems in order to pass tests and become certified.
  • Must be comfortable working on ladders 6 to 12ft and on lifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
  • Ability to work overhead and in unusual or small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
  • Skills to communicate well with customers and explain the work being done and any repairs that are necessary.
  • Skills to write well and be very detailed in your write up on service work.
  • Must be well organized and be able to keep track of service tickets and process all required documents for each service performed.
