Job description

Role Summary
Anthropologie is looking for an experienced and motivated Allocator who will optimize store sales and productivity through allocations, analysis, and management of assortment and choice count.
Role Responsibilities
Allocation
  • Allocate merchandise for one or more classes
  • Collaborate with buying pre-season and in-season for alignment on where product should be sent.
  • Execute release of initial PO's maintaining appropriate inventory levels through backstock and leveraging web.
  • Maintain sales and inventory plans by store including attribute plans using MID system
  • Meet or exceed sales, gross margin and inventory WOS goals for classes
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution to plan for new store openings

Analysis
  • Recap and communicate location and size selling performance and opportunities
  • Provide store insight by class and store attribute Weekly/Monthly/Seasonally to action current opportunity and influence future buy strategies
  • Test new concepts providing analysis to measure success
  • Check orders quantity and store intent before PO's are written
  • Provide Min/Max buy quantities by class and store group for future buy seasons

Role Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills with experience allocating to stores
  • Excellent communication skills and have a strong vocal presence in meetings to share store insights and ideas to cross functional team
  • Organizational skills necessary to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Good Excel skills required; MicroStrategy experience a plus.
