Start Date: September 21, 2026 / End Date: December 31, 2026
Schedule: 40 hours per week, four 10-hour shifts
Shift Options: 2:00 PM–12:00 AM EST or 4:00 PM–2:00 AM EST
Interview: 30–45 minute Teams video interview with the Hiring Manager and Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse I to join a Telehealth Clinical Team and provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing support in a fast-paced virtual environment. This temporary position supports patients through telephone triage, clinical assessment, care coordination, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare providers.

The RN will work with patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations and must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, critical-thinking, and telehealth skills.

Schedule Requirements

  • 40 hours per week on four 10-hour shifts.
  • Shifts will generally be either 2:00 PM–12:00 AM EST or 4:00 PM–2:00 AM EST.
  • Candidates must be flexible, as start times may be adjusted by up to two hours based on business needs.
  • Weekday schedules may vary and include rotating weekends.
  • Employees may be required to float to other service lines based on operational needs.
  • Schedule assignments may change based on business demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing support through telehealth platforms.
  • Conduct comprehensive telephone triage and assess patient needs.
  • Gather pertinent clinical information and identify symptoms requiring escalation.
  • Determine appropriate telehealth care pathways and coordinate care with providers.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Address post-consultation questions and patient concerns.
  • Assist with medication-related questions and pharmacy concerns in collaboration with providers.
  • Provide patient education, guidance, and health information.
  • Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information in the electronic medical record.
  • Identify and report patient safety or quality concerns.
  • Utilize evidence-based nursing practices and professional standards.
  • De-escalate difficult interactions while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced virtual environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.
  • Active Compact RN License required.
  • Licensure in all 50 states is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings preferred.
  • Strong telephone triage and patient assessment skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical-thinking and clinical decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to synthesize clinical information and recognize escalation needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a high-volume environment.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records and electronic prescribing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain telehealth nursing competencies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous telehealth nursing experience.
  • Experience working in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Department settings.
  • Experience with telephone triage.
  • Multi-state nursing licensure.
  • Strong understanding of patient safety, care coordination, and health resource navigation.


Team Environment

The RN will report to a Nurse Supervisor and work alongside other Registered Nurses, Care Coordinators, and healthcare Providers. The team operates in a collaborative, patient-focused environment where quality, communication, and efficient care coordination are essential.
