Job description

General Dentist – DDS/DMD

Lake Nona (Orlando VA Medical Center), FL

Allmed | Orlando, FL | Contract / 1099 Independent Contractor

Pay - $130 per hour

About the Role

[Your Company Name] is seeking a General Dentist (DDS or DMD) to provide on-site dental care at the Orlando VA Medical Center (Lake Nona) and, as needed, at nearby VA outpatient clinics. We are filling 2 full-time positions plus a substitute, for a steady, long-term contract engagement (base year plus four option years).

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, standard clinic hours 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Full-time equivalent: 2,080 hours/year
  • Maximum 40 hours/week — no overtime
  • Occasional evening, weekend, or holiday coverage may be required with at least 2 weeks' notice
  • Occasional travel to other OVAHCS clinics may be required

Compensation

  • $130/hour
  • Weekly or bi-weekly direct deposit
  • Malpractice/professional liability insurance provided

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in any U.S. state or territory (Florida license required prior to start)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Active DEA registration
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI)
  • Ability to pass VA credentialing/privileging (VetPro) and background vetting
  • Clean OIG exclusion list status
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
