What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor management activities, and/or emergency response support at a busy front desk location.
  • Greet employees, guests, vendors, and/or contractors, verify credentials, issue access materials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive access control practices.
  • Answer phones, monitor lobby activity and security-related systems, document incidents, and communicate clearly with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding unusual activity or concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing front desk support during alarms, evacuations, medical events, and/or other site emergencies.
  • Maintain professional presence at the reception area while completing reports, logs, and other administrative duties that support daily operations in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
