What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading dock areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support truck, delivery, and employee access procedures in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
  • Assist with incident reporting, lost and found inquiries, and other routine security-related duties while maintaining a professional presence in active shipping, receiving, and distribution areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
